Our community plastic recycling workshop will be offering all sorts of ways to get involved once we’re fully operational. We’ll need support running events, assisting operations and guiding the organisation.
Volunteer roles
Litter Arcade roles

We’re seeking people loving folks who can get involved with running the Litter Arcade we take to events. Throughout the spring and summer 2023 we’ll be popping up in Great Yarmouth and Lowestoft at events like First Light Festival to invite families to play our arcade and do spontaneous litter picks. These roles would suit folk who enjoy meeting and talking to new people.
Plastic sorting roles

If you love matching colours and organising things then we could have some fulfilling roles for you. Sorting plastics is a big part of the process of diverting plastic from being waste into being a material for making new stuff. We will always have roles sorting plastics like DVD cases or bottle lids into colour categories ready for shredding. These roles are at the heart of our operation and make a great team building activity if you’re part of a group looking to give back through volunteering.
Beach Cleans
Our proximity to the beach means we can offer beach clean and plastic sorting volunteer opportunities if you’re looking for a role to get involved with as an individual or a group. There are also some great regularly scheduled beach cleans organised by local organisations we work with that you could join. Check out Norfolk Beach Cleans on Facebook to find out more.
